Brunei G4G was launched in December 2020. Two circles were run in parallel, targeting girls from diverse backgrounds. As much as possible, we try to invite accomplished women to share their stories and struggles with the girls. So far, Brunei G4G have been graced by CEO of a Telco, senior official from the local government and an ambassador to the German High Commission.
Our Achievements
With two successful circles in 2021, G4G Brunei has received local media coverage.
Our Target
In 2022, we aim to scale up the number of mentoring circles to 4 and increase the pool of G4G mentors from the 7 that we have today.

Chapter’s Memories
Words From A Member
Lailatul Zubaidah Hassan, Special Advisor to G4G
I served as a Juvenile Court Magistrate for a good decade. In my time overseeing Juvenile Court Cases, my paths crossed with many young girls, disillusioned and jaded by their socio-economic circumstances. I identified with many of them as my parents also divorced when I was 16. Many a time, I used myself as an example to let them know their circumstances could never define them if they took every opportunity to invest in themselves to secure a good future.
