About The Chapter

Project Girls for Girls Pakistan was launched in March 2020, amidst the pandemic, with the aim to enable and empower young girls and women in Pakistan to advocate for themselves and play their part in social change through leadership development.

A pilot circle was launched in collaboration with the Bahria University with 8 mentees from the Bahria Business School joining the first mentorship programme. Within a year, G4G Pakistan has launched partnerships with various educational institutions in the capital and reached nearly 40 girls who have graduated from our programme.

Our primary focus is working together with educational institutions and incubation/innovation centres in Pakistan to mentor young women and girls. We are also working with the private sector to increase employability of young women in Pakistan.

Our Achievements

In 2020, we managed to graduate 1 circle at Bahria University. This number increased to 4 circles graduating in 2021; two circles from Bahria University and two circles from Westminster.

Our Target

Our target is to reach 10,000 girls in Pakistan across the country over the next 5 years.

One of the best decisions I made was being part of the Project Girls for Girls Pakistan’ leadership mentorship program. The knowledge, experience, wisdom, encouragement, and network opportunity that I got from my mentor are invaluable. I gained, discovered, and improved many skills that will be valuable as I start my professional career. My experience has taught me the importance of mentoring girls and women to help them develop leadership skills.
